Vail Luxury Rentals: 3 Places to Stay and Ski Vail in Luxury

Proper Peaks may get a small commission from in-content links. We’ll look to put any of it towards lift tickets and gas to the slopes.

Vail is one of the most prestigious places to ski and snowboard in the U.S., with good reason. Vail luxury rentals are on a different level than many other ski resorts. If you want the ski trip of a lifetime then these are 3 luxury rentals that you’ll want to consider.

Luxury at its Finest: The Perfect Vail Luxury Rental

The first Vail luxury rental sets the bar extremely high. It is almost unmatchable. In fact, you won’t see another Vail rental that has architecture this intriguing to the eye. Wander’s Vail property is stunning on the outside and inside. Once you step inside, you’ll find a transformed interior that came from a full renovation.

The massive house is set up for work and play, all near the slopes of Vail. It is a 3-bedroom, 3-ensuite bath (plus 1 half bath) that sleeps up to 8. Plenty for most groups. The entire footprint is spread over 3 amazing levels.

You’ll feel in the wilderness as the house is hugged by aspen, pine and spruce trees. But what is luxury without some amazing amenities as well? Here is what is offered.

Amenities:

  • Tesla included in rental with a ski rack
  • 3 premium home workstations
  • Indoor fireplace
  • Chefs style kitchen
  • Beautiful forest views
  • Elevator
  • Eight Sleep Pod Pros

Distance to slopes: Half a mile

It really doesn’t get better when it comes to Vail luxury rentals than what Wander has put together. While it fills up fast, it is worth seeing if there is space left to book your days. If that is full, we have two runner-ups as well.

A Spacious Vail Option for a Large Group

luxury rental

Need to sleep more people in your ski group? This second option is luxurious but you’ll have to pay more if you need a larger space. At over 5,000 sq feet, this second option sleeps 14 people and isn’t too far from the Eagle Bahn Gandola. While the interior is a bit more dated since it hasn’t had such a recent reno, it is still great. Your group will find all the luxury features they could wish for, including a boot dryer, great view, chefs kitchen and indoor fireplace.

The footprint of this luxury rental is spread out over 5 floors and there is a two-car garage at the base. Due to the size and the price point, it is easier to get dates on this property and there isn’t as much of a sense of urgency to book. The only thing about renting a place this good is that you won’t even want to be on the slopes.

A West Vail Experience

modern rental house in vail

A little further than the first two and you can find another great Vail luxury rental option. It might not come with a Tesla or 5 stories but it is exciting in its own right for a luxury rental. The house feels massive and it surely is, sleeping up to 14.

The inside and outside of the house feel very modern and spacious. If you love large open areas then this is a great choice but there is certainly more interesting architecture. That being said, there is nothing this house doesn’t have. Tired after a long day on the slopes, head out to the heated hot tub. Want some entertainment? Try the game room downstairs with a pool table and darts.

Just like the second option, when you have a house rented this big, you’ll want to be spending some considerable time in it. Make sure you have a really large group to make use of the full potential of this luxury rental.

Final Thoughts on Vail Luxury Rentals

You can ski in Vail or you can ski in Vail and stay at a luxury rental. The experience isn’t the same. Booking one of these rentals for your Vail ski vacation will make it one of the most memorable trips of a lifetime. Get your bags packed, ski gear ready and head to Vail. It is time to make memories on the slopes.
